esthetics and strength.

For indications where high strength is required
including anterior and posterior multiple unit
bridges, IPS ZirCAD is the ideal choice. This
zirconium oxide material can be processed
efficiently in a CAD/CAM system and delivers a
flexural strength of over 900 mPA. IPS e.max
ZirCAD blocks are supplied in two sizes. The C15
block is used to fabricate single crown copings,
while B40 blocks are used for bridge frameworks
and batch processing.
IPS e.max ZirCAD frameworks are veneered
with IPS e.max Ceram. The specially developed
ZirLiner provides an optimum bond, no matter
which technique you choose.

Blue in color, e.max CAD is delivered to the lab
in a pre-crystallized form that is ideal for milling.
Indicated for single unit anterior and premolar
copings, e.max CAD offers superior efficiency. It
minimizes wear on CAD/CAM milling instruments
and the absence of shrinkage means that manual
adjustments are easily accomplished.
After milling the e.max CAD as a blue block, it is
crystallized in a porcelain furnace for about 35
minutes. The material undergoes a dramatic
color change and final physical properties are
established. The result is a highly esthetic, high
strength glass ceramic restoration that helps you
achieve your productivity goals.

Unlike any all ceramic system, IPS e.max offers a single
layering ceramic that is compatible with all of the IPS
e.max substructure materials. Its nano-fluorapatite
glass ceramic formulation provides an opalescence,
translucency and brightness that allows you to deliver
truly life-like restorations. With the single layering
ceramic you are able to create an outstanding smile
design that is perfectly matched even when different
substructure materials are used.
